The story begins as Ichigo tries to save a little girl life being attacks by a hollow, he accidentally meet a Soul Reaper from Soul Society. And her name is Rukia Kuchiki. After the incident, Ichigo meets this Soul Reaper again in his room and Rukia explains to him the main objective of a Soul Reaper like her.
