Guren is able to fight back by crystallizing herself with Rinji. Yukimaru is made to think that Guren is dead with the help of a crystal within which Guren and Rinji are trapped is thrown into the lake. His sorrow causes the 3-tails to go insane. Naruto stops the 3-tails with the help of a new jutsu, making it go back under the lake.
