Gamaken and Jiraiya start to fight with Pain. Pain was hiding himself using his camouflage. The barrier jutsu is used by Jiraiya and tries to locate him while preparing to go into Sage Mode. During which time, Pain attacks Jiraiya with a large amount of animals that he calls. Examples include a dog with many heads, a rhino, birds and bulls. Jiraiya after charging up enters Sage Mode, sends Gamaken back to home. He brings Lord Fukasaku and Lady Shima to the forefront that sees pain and destroys his chameleon. Unaffected with the jutsu, Pain commands two more bodies.
