Nartuo, choji and Shikamaru try to capture Sai but could not capture him as Sai was unidentifiable. Concerned over the re-attack of Akatsuki members on the village again to capture the 9-tailed beast, the elders meet up Tsunade. They request Tsuande to let Naruto stay at the village as protection. But, Tsuande declines the offer of the elders and makes an oath to save Konoha at the cost of her life, if at all Naruto is seaized. She is under pressure from Danzo to keep Sai as member in team Kakashi. As Kakashi is still in hospital, Tsuande decides to replace him with Yamato, an ANBU member and asks him to watch over Sai.
